SMART & BOLD! Their after-school programs tackle academic, financial, and social issues and challenges while building self-esteem along the way. Ann took part in one of the programs: ‘Media Literacy’, and learned a thing or two from the young ladies of Astor School in North Portland.
Ann gave up the mike and let the Girls, Inc girls break down media stereotypes and messaging.
