‘Focus on Youth’ is a Portland based organization that uses photography and mentoring to empower culturally and ethnically diverse teens. This unique non-profit provides creative outlets, boosts self-esteem, and keeps kids in school. And don’t forget relationship building—life changing stuff. Donna Lee Holmes started ‘Focus for Youth’ some 8 years ago. She calls it ‘her baby’. We call her ‘one proud mother!’

It’s such a pleasure to watch a really, really skilled interviewer work her craft – your combination of discipline and empathy were particularly on display with this show. I’ve seen Donna Lee interviewed a number of times but I’ve never seen her so beautifully and respectfully guided through the process.
This particular show brought me to the auditorium but believe me, I’m coming back for all the dances.
